KITCHENER, Ontario, Aug. 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Waterloo Brewing
Waterloo Brewing, the trade name of Brick Brewing Co. Limited (“Brick” or the “Company”) (TSX: BRB), today announced the return of Waterloo Festbier, a small-batch lager brewed especially for Oktoberfest celebrations. Waterloo Festbier launched locally in 2017, selling out in a record three weeks, earning the brew a provincial listing at the LCBO this September.
“If you love beer, it really doesn’t get any better than Oktoberfest in Kitchener-Waterloo,” said Jim Manz, Director Commercial, Waterloo Brewing. “Pretzels, brats, beer in steins and lots of people make for a great time and makes for a pretty memorable festival. I think we’d even give Munich a run for their money.”
“The Bingeman family has been a part of Oktoberfest celebrations in K-W for 50 years,” added Kim Mannerow, Senior Commercial Integration Manager. “They put on a great show, a memorable party and we’re thrilled to raise a pint of finely crafted beer to celebrate this important anniversary with them.”
“This year’s Oktoberfest Koolhaus at Bingeman’s promises to be the best yet,” continued Mannerow. “It’s the largest festhalle – two tents this year for one great price – and it’s jam packed with entertainers, an endless variety of Bavarian foods and lots of thoughtfully crafted beer. Mark October 5, 6, 12 and 13 in your calendar. You won’t want to miss it.”
